In January 2026, a selection of NAST scaleup members were invited to join the NHO Årskonferanse. They were also invited to a scaleup-lunch with EQT, the crown prince of Norway and president of NHO.

In August, NAST is the hub for the startup and investor ecosystems at Arendalsuka.

As a member, you get to use the boat “MS Søgne”, join events and network with politicians and peers.

Who can join?

Core members:

  • Founders

  • Startups

  • Scaleups

Core members hold voting rights. They receive invitations to all events and can propose topics or initiatives for NAST to address. Membership categories are flexible, and applications are evaluated by an admissions board to ensure appropriate placement and acceptance.

Founders are defined as serial entrepreneurs and established founders of companies that have already achieved significant traction. This category is for you who is currently between companies and looking for your next adventure. Founders get 1 vote.

Startups are companies typically younger than 5 years, who have proved their market fit and gained some traction. Startups get 3 votes.

Scaleups have gained significant traction and growth. They have more than 15 employees and have already scaled internationally. Scaleups get 10 votes.

We also have supporters. They are students or aspiring founders, not yet eligible for a full membership. Supporters do not have voting rights.

Associated members enjoy access to all events, early access to content and causes, and the opportunity to contribute through advisory boards and other support roles. Associated members also receive logo placement on the NAST website. All memberships are subject to approval by the admissions board.

Pricing

Prices are per year. All members are invoiced in January. If you sign up after 1 July, you pay half the fee for that calendar year.

Founders: 1000 NOK

Startups: 5000 NOK

Scaleups: 20 000 NOK

Ecosystems: 30 000 NOK

Investors: 30 000 NOK

Corporates: 90 000 NOK

NAST welcomes donations from individuals and organizations that do not align with any specific membership category. Donations are capped at 300 000 NOK annually.
